Simple blossom pattern

the following is a very simple crochet pattern for a single blossom flower…..but please feel free to use one of your own, the only stipulation is that they are pink and it would be helpful if you left a long tail of wool so they can be tied to something.

Leave tail of wool of about 4″, make 4 chain, join into a circle with a slip stitch.   Do 6 double crochet into the circle space.  In each double crochet do the following: 1 double crochet, 3 treble crochet, 1 double crochet – this makes one petal.   When you have completed all 6 petals, finish off and leave another tail of 4″.
